Reminder hockey fans!
 
Following on the success of last year, Navy Youth Hockey Association, Inc. will produce another annual Program.  The primary purpose of the book is to assist families in lowering their annual hockey fees.  Remaining proceeds from the advertising income are donated back to the club.
 
The book will focus on our program-- its teams and players, coaches’ profiles, and other interesting facts about Navy Youth Hockey.  The complete book will also include ads from local merchants looking for more exposure in the community, as well as personal ads to wish your favorite player, coach or team good luck. Parents, grandparents, friends and businesses can purchase a variety of ad sizes.
 
The books will be distributed to all Navy Youth Hockey players and visiting teams during home games.  It will also be available in the BSC lobby as a free publication. Total circulation is estimated to be 1000 books.  All ads are tax-deductible.
 
Here’s how it works:   
If you collect and submit the advertisement artwork and money by September 15, 2010, your account will be credited dollar-for-dollar up to $300.  Additional ad revenue collected over the $300 and up to $1700 will be credited to your account at a 50% rate. All fees will be refunded to you by check by November 30, 2010.  Any player receiving a discount of $600 or more will receive a 1099.
 
 
Example:
NYH Registration fee:                                            $1650
First $300 in ad revenue:                                      ($300)
Next $1200 in ad revenue at 50%                          ($600)
 
Total NYH hockey fees for the season:                   $750

Artwork and checks will be collected by your team manager on September 15.
